For Brian McKinney, hard work and dirt under your boots have always meant something. After years of building McKinney Excavating into a trusted name across East Tennessee, he felt a pull back to his roots — the farm.
What started as a desire to raise his own beef cattle in Athens has grown into McKinney Family Farms, a natural extension of the same values that drive his excavation business: grit, integrity, and doing things the right way.
Now, the two operations work hand in hand — heavy equipment and honest farming, side by side — both grounded in Tennessee soil and a commitment to quality that runs deep.
